How do I clean the clearomizer of  e-cigarette?

 Since you have just made yourself comfortable, the e-cigarette already filled with the favorite liquid and then that: it does not steam or the steam tastes like the shi.... On days like this there are also no spare clearomizer or spare parts such as heating coil and wicks in sight.

An coil heads is one of the consumables of an E-cigarette. How long a new coil heads  can last is quite different and depends not least on the make, the quality and the frequency of use. The fact is: One day, each evaporator becomes "the temporal blessing". Buy new, repair or first clean thoroughly then the options.

Let's start with the first step that applies to all types of evaporators. Disconnect the evaporator from the battery or the battery holder and drain it. Remove the mouthpiece from the clearomizer / tank.

Clean the clearomizer by simple flushing

Sometimes the easiest way is the best solution. If you have emptied your vaporizer and screwed it apart, then simply blow it vigorously several times. With a strong lung and a bit of luck, this is sufficient to solve some soiling or encrustation. A "hobby-craftsman" may even have the opportunity with a compressed air device to blow the vaporizer really strong.

The weekend is long and you do not have time in the next days to get a new evaporator or spare parts? Cleaning with liquids can help you to use your evaporator. In this case, however, a (small) waiting time should be included, as the evaporator has to dry again after cleaning.

• Hot water can be used for cleaning. To do this, place its clearomizer in a vessel and pour it with boiling water. To really remove the encrustations, move the clearomizer back and forth with a spoon for a few minutes. If necessary, pour in one or two hot water. After about 20 to 30 minutes, you can remove the clearomizer and then blow it vigorously. Allow the vaporizer to dry for at least three to four hours after using this procedure before reusing it.
• You can also use medicinal alcohol and also the Russian favorite drink vodka to clean the clearomizer, instead of the water (both do not have to be heated before). Here too, you have to wait a little: Let the clearomizer "soak" for at least twelve hours in the alcohol, before blowing it vigorously. Do not forget to rinse the clearomizer with water and let it dry for a few hours.

Clean the clearomizer with an ultrasonic cleaner

After Drugstores and Discounter had it more than once on offer, there is probably hardly a household, which has no ultrasonic cleaner for glasses, dentures and jewelry. The clearomizer can also be cleaned.

But beware: A powerful ultrasonic cleaner does its job so well, that wicks dissolve and the paint of the clearomizer is damaged. Please make sure that the evaporator is completely disassembled and the wicks removed.

Clean the clearomizer using the "Dryburn" method

The Dryburn method is not suitable for all types of clearomizer, since the heating coil must be completely released. When you have done this, press the button and allow the filament to dry up for a few seconds before you cool the vaporizer (let it cool down for a few seconds!). Please test this method only on really old clearomizer, as this can be destroyed by the dryburn.

As previously mentioned, no one can predict the "life" of an clearomizer. But there are some tricks, as you can enjoy a clear and tasty steam longer.

• Use more than one evaporator alternately and do not strain an clearomizer by pressing the button continuously. Steam steadily and with pleasure. So do not buy a single e-cigarette, but a starter set with two complete e-cigarettes.

• If your vaporizer begins to have a charred taste, clean it at an early stage and do not wait for the steam to flow.
• Some very thick liquids can be steamed more easily if diluted with a little water. This, of course, is also a question of taste.
