Which e-liquid should I order?

After buying an e-cigarette, it is of course important that you have the e-cigarette liquid at home to fill it. This liquid is usually called e-liquid. Other names for e-liquid are, for example, vapor liquid or vape juice. E-liquid is available in countless different flavors. These e-liquid are generally divided into Tobacco, Fruit, Mint or Menthol, Dessert and Sweet flavors. When using an e-cigarette you always need an e-liquid. The information below can help you make a choice for the best e-liquid for your e-cigarette.

We will now explain which e-liquid suits your e-cigarette. So read the information below carefully if you are not sure about the choice for your e-liquid. E-liquid mainly consists of two different base liquids. These are PG and VG. These two basic ingredients are both processed in an e-liquid at all times. However, there can be big differences in the degree to which the two relate to each other. Below is a brief explanation of what PG and VG mean and what you should pay attention to.

  • PG (Propylene Glycol) is sharper in the throat and thinner in structure. When used, this liquid causes the irritation in the throat (similar to tobacco)
  • VG (Vegetable Glycerin) is softer in the throat and thicker in texture. This liquid creates more vapor and larger clouds.

It is important to know that not every e-liquid can be used in every e-cigarette. This is due to the thickness of the liquid. PG and VG are always expressed in percentages relative to each other (Example 50/50 or 30/70). The first number stands for the % PG and the second % for the amount of VG. In addition, it is important to know that the higher the VG, the thicker the liquid is.

Which flavor to buy e-liquid?

So there are countless different types of e-liquid flavors with different PG and VG ratios. Everyone's taste is different and what one person likes, another does not like. So experiment with the different types of liquids. It is also possible to mix different flavors/nicotine levels and make your own e-liquid.

Which e-liquid should I use in which e-cigarette?

The thickness therefore plays an important role in the choice of your e-liquid. If we look at which e-liquid you should use for which e-cigarette, you should also take this into account. A coil is installed in every e-cigarette. This coil has a resistance that is expressed in 'Ohm'. It can have a value from 0.1 to 2.0 ohms. The lower the resistance, the higher the % VG you can use in the e-liquid. In short, you could adhere to the following guidelines.

  • Pod system: Up to 50% VG
  • Vape Pen: Up to 50% VG
  • Sub Ohm: Minimum 50% VG
  • BOX MOD: Minimum 50% VG

If you are not sure whether your e-liquid is suitable for your e-cigarette? Then choose a 50/50 e-liquid. These are always suitable for every model. The moment this guideline is not adhered to, the e-cigarette will not function optimally and will therefore (depending on the choice) start to splash or the coil in the e-cigarette will fail faster.

How much nicotine should I use in my e-liquid?

The last choice you should make when purchasing an e-liquid is the nicotine content of the liquid. Nicotine can help switch from tobacco to electronic smoking. The ideal nicotine level depends on personal needs in combination with the model you are using.

For example, a starter will more often opt for a somewhat higher nicotine level and then gradually reduce it. This can also be done by mixing e-liquid, for example. For example, when you mix a 12 mg/ml with a 6 mg/ml, you realize a 9 mg/ml e-liquid yourself. Our needle bottles, for example, are handy for mixing.

It is also good to take a good look at what type of e-cigarette you use. For example, a BOX Mod e-cigarette vaporizes much more liquid than a standard Pen type model or Pod system e-cigarette. You should therefore take this into account when choosing the nicotine level. We provide the following standard for choice in nicotine content e-liquid.

Of course, it differs per user which nicotine level suits you best. Some people even want e-liquid with 0mg nicotine. We therefore always advise you to test this. When you notice that your nicotine needs are greater/lower than what the e-cigarette offers, you can easily adjust this yourself by choosing a different nicotine level.

What is Nic Salt e-liquid?

From the beginning of the electronic cigarette, it is combined with 'liquid' nicotine. Now a new trend has recently emerged, namely Nic Salt E-liquid. This e-liquid does not use liquid nicotine but nicotine salt. The biggest difference with normal nicotine is that the influence on the taste compared to normal e-liquid is much lower. As a result, you will taste the nicotine less strongly in the liquid. Another property of Nic Salt is that the absorption of the nicotine is much more efficient. This gives you the satisfaction for longer (comparable to smoking tobacco).

Because the taste of the nicotine has a stronger influence on the high nicotine levels, Nic Salt or Nicotine Salt is mainly popular with users of high nicotine levels.

In addition, Nic Salt is also very suitable for use in Pod systems. In addition, Nic Salt can also be used in a Vape Pen. However, it is not recommended to use Nic Salt in a BOX Mod e-cigarette.
