The Nitecore i4 is an intelligent charger that charges twice as fast as the well-known i4. This charger charges different types of batteries such as Li-Ion, NiMH, LiFePo4 IFR and NiCd. The electronics automatically recognize the inserted battery and adjust the charging behavior. If four slots are occupied, the charging current is 375 mA, if two slots are occupied, it is 750 mA and the LEDs indicate the charging status of the respective battery. After the charging process, the charger switches off automatically. You can also load different cells at the same time.

In contrast to the Intellicharger New i2, the Intellicharger New i4 has four charging slots that can be individually monitored. The battery charger charges Ni-MH, Li-Ion, Ni-Cd, IMR and LiFePO4 batteries in various sizes. When the charging process is complete, the intelligent charger switches off automatically. The Intellicharger New i4 has more power than its predecessor.

Special features of the Intellicharger NEW i4

The Intellicharger New i4 recognizes when it is inserted into the battery compartment which type of battery it is and which residual current is still available. The charger distributes the charging power to all shafts by means of an ADCD. Unfortunately, there is no display. The Intellicharger New i4 has four charge indicator lights for control. With the "C" and "V" keys, the current intensity and the termination threshold for the battery voltage can be changed for Li-ion batteries with a high capacity. Each shaft can be selected at the touch of a button and the loading time optimized. Even deeply discharged batteries can be reactivated. To do this, press the "C" and "V" buttons together until the lower display flashes. Recovery mode is then activated in the battery.

The Intellicharger provides a charging current of 1.5 mA. The high performance only applies to one charging slot. In the case of multiple occupancy, the charging current is divided. The New i4 has temperature monitoring, heat protection and a fire-retardant plastic housing.
It can charge all major types of batteries. Two D-cells (mono) can also be charged at the same time. Like the New i2, the New i4 does not have a display to read the charging information. This is done by LEDs, which indicate the charge level by means of light signals. An LCD display is the better choice here.
